2 "Citizen's Pavilion" ----- Takl shows, panel discussions, concerts and other events were held.
3 "Kaisho Forest" and "Kaisho Plaza", left of further place: "Aichi Pavilion Seto", right of further place: "Japan Pavilion Seto" ----- At first, Kaisho Forest would be destroyed widely because the EXPO 2005 were supposed to hold there. The environmentalist and BIE criticised this plan. BIE means "The Bureau International des Expositions [International Exhibitions Bureau]". As only one nest of hawk (a kind of natural monument) was found, this plan was extremely changed. A plan of Seto Area was reduced into 10% area (90% reduction), main venue was decided to hold at ex-"Aichi Youth Park" in Nagakute. As a result of it, forest environment has been protected, and many people learned the "Nature's Wisdom". For further information, please see the assiciation official website.

1 Ex-"Bampaku Kaijo" station of the Linomo line. North Gate was located in front of it. At present, this station name was changed into "Ai-chikyuhaku Kinen Koen". This name means "Commenorative Park of the EXPO 2005 Aichi, Japan" (Moricoro Park). This photo was when the EXPO 2005 had been held. At present, 2 temporary platforms was removed (a platform toward Fujigaoka for riding only, and a platform toward Yakusa [ex-Bampaku Yakusa] for getting off only).
2 the 88-meter-high Ferris wheel (Interactive Fun Zone) seen from "Koen-nishi" station of Linimo. The Linimo cars float 8 millimeters above the track by electromagnet, and it is possible to run at 100km/h at most on it. When EXPO 2005 had been held, the longest waiting time to board took about 1 hour. As it is very quiet at the top speed of 100km/h, no one complains about noise in residential district.
3 "JAMA Wonder Wheel Pavilion (Corporate Pavilion Zone A) [center]" and "the Ferris wheel (Interactive Fun Zone) [right]" seen from ex-"Bampaku Kaijo (Ai-chikyuhaku Kinen Koen, at present)" station of the Linimo.

Pictures of everyday were displayed on the wall in the Association Headquarters before the closing day. Registered volunteers and venue staffs could see them, but visitors could not do it. When I saw them, I thought upsurging "Love Earth EXPO (literally translated meaning of EXPO 2005 Aichi, Japan)" was "EXPO loved by the citizens". EXPO 2005 was important to solve environment issues. On the day after closing day, I saw a scene about EXPO 2005, there are many visitors who shed tears with staffs because they were impressed. Some visitors made friends with foreign staffs. And visitors enjoyed world food, could know foreign cultures, fell close to foreign something.
Total visitors: 22,049,544 visitors
Most visitors in a single day: 281,441 visitors (18th September)
Those who said the "EXPO 2005 was good": about 80% (about 90% at most)
I thought the "EXPO 2005 Aichi, Japan" supported by the people was definitely succeeded.
"EXPO 2005 Aichi, Japan" was great, fantastic, impressed!!! "Allfs Well That Ends Well".
